About the author​

I was always eager to learn as much about the natural world as I could as a child, a passion that led me to pursue a Ph.D. and a passion that still drives me today. After working as a post-doc at the University of Liverpool and as a medical writer in Manchester, I worked for three years writing press releases and feature stories about science, technology, and design at the University of Pennsylvania as a Science News Officer. I'm now working as a Communications Specialist at the University of Delaware's College of Engineering.
